East Arkansas Regional Unit Staff Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and in remembrance of those effected by the disease, staff at the EARU went Pink! Staff wore pink and held up signs suppporting a cure for breast cancer. Special recognition went to Records Supervisor, Pam Dover, who is a survivor of the disease.

1st Annual ACC Phenomenal Woman Conference

Staff members from around the agency attended the 1st Annual Phenomenal Woman Conference hosted by Arkansas Community Correction on September 15, 2017. The focus of the conference was to empower, motivate an encourage women. Former Miss Arkansas 2011, Kristen Glover Belew, (who is the grand daughter of Board of Correction member Bobby Glover), spoke to the women about her journey to become Miss Arkansas, the importance of having a positive attitude an helping others. Pictured with Miss Arkansas (left) is Tameca Giles and (right) Angela R. ORCU Inmate Council donate to Boys and Girls Club
