Major Straughn and Deputy Warden Outlaw grill barbecue for Correctional Officer’s Week. The front lobby of the Unit was also decorated in honor of all Corrections staff assigned to the Pine Bluff Unit.

Training Academy celebrates Correctional Officer’s week

Grimes Unit celebrate Correctional Officer’s week.

During Correctional Officer’s Week, Officers and Support Staff were given donuts on some days and barbeque on others. The unit also gave away one TV for each shift, one for Administrative Staff and Medical, and one for 5 Day a Week Security and Field Staff. Individuals were also recognized on each shift for excelling in one area or another.
