Challenge Coins Awarded to North Central Unit Officers

CONGRATULATIONS to Sgt. John Colbert and Sgt. Cody Douglas, of the North Central Unit (NCU), who were each awarded an ADC Challenge Coin by Deputy Director Dexter Payne on June 11, 2019 for their exemplary performance in maintaining the safety of inmates and staff.

Benton Work Release Makes Positive Impact on Flood Relief Efforts

Staff and inmates from Regional Maintenance at the Benton Work Release Unit worked diligently for seven days in early June filling 103,280 sandbags to assist with disaster relief efforts as a result of flooding in the Faulkner County areas of Lake Conway, Toad Suck, the Lollie Community, and Mayflower.

EARU Staff Observe Lupus Awareness Month

In observance of May being Lupus Awareness Month, staff at EARU wore PURPLE on May 24, 2019 in a show of support to their fellow co-workers who live with the disease!

ADC Participates in 2019 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run

Members of the Emergency Response Teams from our Pine Bluff Complex, Delta Regional Unit, Cummins Unit, and Wrightsville Complex took part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas in Pine Bluff on May 22, 2019.

Corporal Lindsey from the Pine Bluff Unit had an extra-special reason
for participating – his sister, Rebecca – who is a Special Olympics athlete!

Red Ribbon Run Scholarships Awarded

Recipients of the 2019 Red Ribbon Run Scholarship were awarded certificates by the ADC Management Team on May 17th.
