Assistant to the Director of Finance

The Assistant to the Director of Finance shall assist the Director of Finance in:

1. Managing the financial affairs of the school.
2. Budget development and long-range financial planning.
3. Ensuring a program of accounting adequate to record in detail all money and credit transactions.
4. Supervising all accounting operations.
5. Acting as payroll officer for the district.
6. Managing the district’s real estate and insurance programs.
7. Administering a budget control program for the district.
8. Arranging for the internal auditing of school accounts.
9. Purchasing by competitive bidding, informal quotations, and negotiation, items of supply and equipment necessary for the operation of the school.
10. Assisting in hiring personnel.
11. Performing various and other job-related duties as required.
