The Division of Community Correction’s Northeast Center Treatment Department recently hosted a friendly competition for center residents on the rec yard basketball court, but no basketball was needed. Instead, teams were divided by residential pods and given colored chalk along with the challenge of creating art designs illustrating the “five stages of change.” Judging was done by three staff members who had the difficult task of selecting the winning design. In the end, Pod 7 reigned victorious with their drawing of the metamorphosis of a butterfly!
