JFA Associates projects that with the expected annual growth, the Division of Correction’s population will be over 19,000 by 2031. The ADC is currently operating at 99 percent of its capacity of 14,640.

The projected average annual growth from 2021 to 2031 is 1.4 percent. By comparison, the average annual percent growth from 2010 to 2020 was .2 percent.
