Executive Clemency

Under Arkansas Statute §16-93-204, the Post-Prison Transfer Board has the authority to assist the Governor in exercising his or her authority in granting reprieves, commutations, and pardons. The Board investigates all applications for clemency, submits a recommendation and report to the Governor, and performs other services as may be required by the Governor in exercising his or her powers of executive clemency.
